Folk rite performed in Zhitkovichi District

On Saint George's Day, residents of the village of Pogost in Zhitkovichi District put on wreaths and national costumes, get together, do a circle dance, and ask God for a rich harvest, giving a special decorated loaf of bread as an offering. This folk rite is part of Belarus' intangible historical and cultural heritage.
