Day of Swedish Culture in Minsk

The Day of Swedish Culture in the Upper Town was arranged by the Swedish Embassy in Minsk and the municipal authorities. The event took place in Minsk downtown on 1 June. Visitors could get a glimpse at the Swedish character and way of life, fly over Stockholm in virtual reality, visit lectures about waste sorting, learn a couple of Swedish words and even win yellow-blue socks. The festival wrapped up with a night concert starring famous Swedish performer, Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen and Belarusian music band J:Mors.
