The exhibition of Belarusian sacred art called as 33 Steps opened at the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery on 14 March. The exhibition showcases a collection of art pieces from the Ancient Belarusian Culture Department of the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Study Center at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and also the paintings by People's Artist of the USSR and Belarus Mikhail Savitsky. The project features the ancient icons and sculptures created in the 17th -19th centuries on the territory of Belarus. They are the historical and cultural values and are dedicated to the Way of the Cross described in the Gospel and the Easter feast.
