Like many other countries, Belarus is showing appreciation for doctors, paramedics, nurses, attendants, ambulance drivers – all those who are working to save lives and health of patients. A lot of indifferent people have decided to support healthcare workers by sending protective equipment, cooking lunches, helping relatives of self-isolating doctors, and preparing surprises on holidays.
Of course, all over the country people are sending words of gratitude, using the internet, billboards and media displays, staging flashmobs and campaigns… The BRSM Youth Union and the Belarusian postal service Belpochta are running the campaign #ThankYouDoctors, inviting people to send a postcard to any healthcare worker to show their solidarity and gratitude.
