All-Belarusian procession to mark 1030th anniversary of Orthodoxy

The All-Belarusian procession dedicated to the 1030th anniversary of Orthodoxy in the Belarusian lands began on 19 August, on the feast of the Transfiguration, from the Holy Assumption Zhirovichi Monastery. Pilgrims walked 250km over eight days. The great procession will end with a festive divine service in honor of the Minsk Icon of the Mother of God in front of the Holy Spirit Cathedral.
