Over 500 candidates are running for 110 seats in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus. With getting officially registered with the Central Election Commission, the candidates reached the most challenging and competitive stage – pre-election campaigning – which will run through 10 September. The list of available campaigning options includes meetings with voters, rallies organized by candidates’ proxies, placement of promotional materials at information stands, publishing of election programs in print media, five minutes of prime evening airtime and five minutes of radio airtime in the morning, and participation in TV debates.
