MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – A total of 74.32% of registered voters cast their ballots in the 2016 parliamentary elections in Belarus, reads a post on the website of the Central Election Commission.
The voter turnout was 77.53% of the registered voters in Brest Oblast, 79.98% in Vitebsk Oblast, 75.14% in Gomel Oblast, and 76.19% in Grodno Oblast.
A total of 75.35% of registered voters in Minsk Oblast cast their votes. The voter turnout in Mogilev Oblast amounted to 80.9%. In Minsk, the figure was 61.11%. The voter turnout at the polling stations set up abroad was 66.12%.
