MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) – 45 representatives of the diplomatic corps have been accredited to monitor the elections to the Belarusian parliament, BelTA learnt from the website of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus.
The CEC has accredited 321 observers from the CIS, including 44 from the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. A total of 51 observers will represent the OSCE/ODIHR, 15 - PACE and 39 - OSCE PA.
The total number of international observers currently makes up 475.
The elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus are due to take place on 11 September.
