MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Large part of the OSCE recommendations has been fulfilled at the Belarusian parliamentary election, Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina told a press conference in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
“I think that large part of the OSCE major recommendations has been fulfilled to a certain extent in accordance with the law enforcement practice – first of all, the recommendations of the Central Commission. This can be also seen in the free spirit of the pre-election campaigning which was also part and parcel of the election campaign,” Lidia Yermoshina said.
According to the CEC chairperson, the recommendations which required amendments to the law were not fulfilled.
