Belarus parliament elections

MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna met with Head of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission Cayetana De Zulueta Owtram, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the current election campaign in the Republic of Belarus and a range of issues related to the international observation including by the OSCE/ODIHR.

“The Belarusian side confirmed that the elections will be held in full compliance with the national legislation and the country’s international commitments and expressed willingness to ensure the necessary conditions for international observation,” the press service informed.
