MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides all the necessary assistance to the election commissions located abroad, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a briefing on 1 September, BelTA has learned.

“Elections commissions set up abroad are responsible for the organization of the voting at polling stations,” the spokesman said.

“We provide all the necessary assistance to the elections commissions in line with the legislation. We hope that the voting will be held in compliance with the Belarusian election laws and that all the Belarusian citizens who would like to cast their ballots abroad will be given such an opportunity and take advantage of it,” Dmitry Mironchik added.
