Tokyo 2020: Belarus’ Kaladzinskaya wins Women’s Wrestling bronze

TOKYO, 6 August (BelTA) – Vanesa Kaladzinskaya of Belarus defeated Jacarra Winchester of the United States to secure the Women’s Wrestling 53kg bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian came out to the mat highly-motivated and, after reflecting the initial attack of the opponent, caught the moment for a throw. After a pin produced by the Belarusian the judges signaled the end of the bout in favor of the Belarusian.
