MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – The visa-free program for citizens of European countries willing to enter Belarus has been extended till the end of 2025, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

According to the source, taking into account the popularity of Belarus’ visa waiver among foreigners the head of state has decided in favor of extending the visa-free travel program for citizens of 38 European states. Foreigners will still be able to enter Belarus without visas through 31 December 2025.

Since Belarus introduced the visa-free travel program in 2022, over 1 million citizens of European countries have visited the country. The visa waiver is most popular among tourists from neighboring countries: Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland. It is also popular among tourists from Germany, Estonia, Italy, France, and the UK.

Detailed information about the procedure for the visa-free entry to Belarus is available on the website of the State Border Committee of Belarus.
