MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Following the rescheduling of the 2021 IIHF World Championship, on 7 September Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No.337 to formalize a number of decisions related to the preparation and conduct of the championship, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
The visa-free travel period for participants of the championship was shifted from 20 April-31 May to 3 May-13 June, for foreign tourists – from 1-31 May to 14 May-13 June.
The document also amends the period when free medical aid will be provided at the venue of the matches to participants and fans of the championship. The same pertains to the free use of property by the directorate of the event, exemption from some taxes for companies and products.
