Project name: It is Fashionable To Be Healthy (reconstruction of a sports hall for educational and leisure activities of students)

Implementation period: 2 years

Applicant: Secondary School No.23, Grodno

Project goal: Prevention of juvenile delinquency and family dysfunction through physical education and sport

Project tasks:
- promotion of a healthy lifestyle and prevention of socially negative phenomena in the youth environment (reduction of crimes and administrative offenses committed by children and adolescents);
- creating conditions for additional education of students in sports groups and hobby groups;
- organization of meaningful leisure activities for a wide range of young people and teenagers.

Target group:
- school students (800);
- residents of the neighborhood where the school is located (Boldina Street, Stroiteley Ave., BLK, Kalinovskogo Street, Vrublevskogo Street).

Brief description:
- modernization of the school sports hall;
- organization of educational classes, classes of hobby groups in order to form a healthy lifestyle among students of the school and district;
- promotion of a healthy lifestyle through sports events, competitions and friendly matches of various levels;
- organization of leisure activities for teenagers.
