Humanitarian project "The Magic World of Theater" offered for co-financing

Project name: International Festival of Special Theaters "The Magic World of Theater"

Applicant:  Social Services Center of Volkovysk District

Implementation period: 12 months

Project objectives:  improving access to social services for children and young people with disabilities in Volkovysk District.

Project Goals:

- conducting regular activities aimed at social and cultural rehabilitation and adaptation of children and young people with disabilities at the Social Services Center of Volkovysk District and the Volkovysk Public Association of Parents and Disabled Children "Oridi";
- organizing the Open Inclusive International Festival of Special Theaters in Volkovysk.

Target group: disabled children, young people with disabilities aged from 18 to 31 years living in the territory of Volkovysk District.

Brief description of the activities

1) social and cultural rehabilitation and adaptation of children and young people with disabilities at the Social Services Center of Volkovysk District and the Volkovysk Public Association of Parents and Disabled Children "Oridi" by means of setting up:
- a workshop  SOUVENIR to make theater souvenirs, related articles, decorations;
 - art studio SMILE to teach disabled children and young people with disabilities of Volkovysk District the basics of acting and painting; 
- studios for teaching photography to children and young people with disabilities of Volkovysk District.
 
2) Organizing the Open Inclusive International Festival of Special Theaters in Volkovysk.
The preparation and participation of people with disabilities in the Open Inclusive International Festival of Special Theaters in Volkovysk will become the most important socializing factor, a mechanism for full-fledged social and cultural adaptation, social interaction, informational exchange between people, an effective way to shape a personality, its cognitive and emotional aspects.
