Project objectives: to create the conditions to attract tourists and promote tourism in Sharkovshchina District
Project goals:
to renovate the former Szyryn estate which houses the Drozdovich Art and Ethnographic Museum;
to improve the quality of tourist services and popularize the history and culture of Sharkovshchina District;
to promote the intangible heritage of Yаzep Drozdovich through the creation of new expositions;
to set up a cycling tourism route “In the footsteps of Yazep Drozdovich”;
to landscape the territory adjacent to the estate.
Target group: Tourists and visitors from different regions of Belarus and abroad, travel agencies, local residents.
Brief description:
to face-lift the facade of the historic building, interior spaces, retrofit water supply and sewage systems;
to set up new expositions for wider promotion of the intangible heritage of Yazep Drozdovich;
to set up an art gallery to host exhibitions of Belarusian artists, participants of plein-airs;
to set up museum-like accommodation for tourists;
to develop a mobile application for tourist navigation in three languages (Belarusian, Russian, English);
to design a souvenir product line and set up a souvenir shop;
to purchase bicycles;
to set up pedestrian zones, landscaping.
