Humanitarian project of Telekhany Special Needs Boarding School-2
Project name: Improving and equipping the school stadium, promoting physical education, sports and a healthy lifestyle

Applicant: Telekhany Special Needs Boarding School
Project goals: Creation of conditions for doing sports, maintaining good health, promoting a healthy lifestyle among students with special needs of different age groups through the refurbishment and equipment of the school stadium
Project objectives:
1. Replacing sports and recreation infrastructure of the boarding school.
2. Creating favorable conditions for physical education, sports, leisure and recreation of students with physical and mental disability.
3. Encouraging regular physical exercises.
4. Promoting active types of sports and a healthy lifestyle.
5. Facilitating socialization of students with physical and mental disability by holding sports events and competitions jointly with secondary school students.
Target group: Children and teenagers aged 7-16, the boarding school students, secondary school students of Ivatsevichi District
Brief description of the project activities:
1. Developing design specifications and estimates for renovating and equipping the school stadium.
2. Replacing the sports and fitness infrastructure of the boarding school, including facilities for playing volleyball, basketball, mini football; installing sports equipment and outdoor exercise stations, synthetic flooring for the running track and facilities for doing gymnastics.
3. Organizing a solemn stadium inauguration ceremony, holding a sports festival School is the Territory of Sports.
4. Arranging social activities of students with special needs that can help them acquire sports skills and lead a healthy lifestyle, increase the functional capabilities of their bodies, improve their physical development.
5. Arranging joint leisure activities, sports events, festivities and competitions for students with special needs and students of secondary schools of the district
Replacement of the sand surface of the running track with the all-weather synthetic running track
Upgrade of the gymnastics facilities
Installation of outdoor exercise stations
Renovation of basketball, volleyball, futsal fields
