Project name: Construction of a social and vocational rehabilitation unit
Applicant: The state social services institution “Krichev neuropsychiatric residential care facility” (hereinafter – care facility)
Implementation period: 11 months
Project goal:
To improve social rehabilitation of patients of the care facility, to organize their leisure time
Project objective:
To create the conditions for the involvement of people with disabilities in socially useful activities to develop vocational and social skills.
Description of the project activities:
The building will house sports and workout mini halls, a computer class, a library and a reading room, classrooms for groups study and labor workshops for occupational therapy and leisure activities.
Project background:
Currently the institution has no free space for sports, occupational therapy classes and workshops. This type of activity is extremely important for people with mental illness.
Post-project activities:
The social and vocational rehabilitation unit will create the conditions for adaptation and socialization of patients, improve their mental state and quality of life. This will help people with disabilities to learn how to live independently in society. The costs of maintaining the building will be borne by the regional budget.

About us
The Krichev neuropsychiatric residential care facility is a public social services institution providing social services to people with disabilities. Today the institution houses 160 people with mental illness. The institution provides 24/7 care, domestic services and medical assistance.
