Territory accomplishment, greenery planting, optimizing of the accessible barrier free environment for children and young people with special needs on the territory
Organization-applicant: еstablishment "Rechitsa Boarding Home for Children with Disabilities with Features of Psycho-physical Development"
Project goal: to organize living environment aiming to create favorable conditions for people with special needs, to create safe and barrier free environment, to provide all-round development of children and young people personalities by organizing their daily life, occupation, activities, leisure and communication in the society.
Project objectives:
- improving the quality of life of life of children and young people with disabilities by creating of comfortable conditions for their living;
- creating healthy lifestyle by providing proper conditions for physical culture and sport activities for the residents;
- ecological education, the territory improvement and gardening of the residents’ recreation zones.
Target group: children and young people with special needs living in the institution.
Description of the project activities:
- Equipment of the children’s playing town consisting of several zones.
- Equipment of the recreation zones for the residents: purchasing and installation of shades and drenches.
- Territory gardening: planting of decorative trees, bushes, lawn grass, metal flower beds buying and installation.
- Barrier free environment creating: laying of walking paths suitable for children and young people using rehabilitation sources including wheelchairs and walking frames.
- Institution fence reconstruction.
- Purchasing of the mechanisms and tools for the project activities realization.
