Project name: Golden Age - Golden Vegetables
Applicant: Bykhov District Center of Social Services (Mogilev Oblast)
Implementation period: 1 year (1 January 2019 - 31 December 2019)
Project objectives: Launching the production of organic fruit and vegetables for the 24-hour stay social center in order to diversify diet and engage those living in the center in occupational therapy (optional).
Project goals:

To make diet of those living in the center more balanced and vitamin-rich;

To engage senior citizens in the work in the garden;

To redirect funds earmarked for the purchase of vegetables and fruit to improve living conditions in the center;

To help retired people feel satisfied with the quality of life.
Target group: Retired people and people with disabilities residing in the center
Brief description of activities: Purchase of equipment, garden tools, seeds, seedlings, etc. Training in farming of vegetable crops, harvesting and storage of products. Planting seedlings of fruit crops and shrubs. Installation of a greenhouse. Preparation and organization of storage of grown products.
