Project objective: To create favorable conditions for life and recreation of Minsk residents and visitors
Project tasks:
1. To create a public space in Frunzensky District of Minsk, including a zone of active recreation (attractions, sports grounds, cultural events) and passive recreation (walking alleys, recreation and picnic areas, labyrinths of plants)
2. To increase the degree of greenery in Frunzensky District.
Target group: Minsk residents and visitors to the Belarusian capital of all ages, up to 790 simultaneous visitors
Brief description:
The recreational park will be laid out on 17.18ha land plot within the boundaries of Nemanskaya, Lidskaya, Kolesnikova, Kazimirovskaya streets. According to the design and estimate documents, the park shall include the following zones:
- Administrative and economic zone;
- Amusement zone hosting the attractions "Waltz", "Autodrom", "Labyrinth", "Steam locomotive" (or their analogs). Promising plans also imply the placement of the attractions such as "Flying Saucer", "Ferris Wheel", "Mini-Jet", "Children's Chain Carousel", "Children's Ferris Wheel", "Lavitsa", "Trampoline Spider";
- Zone for cultural events and vendors;
- Sports zone hosting a bike path, a health trail, and sites for extreme sports (workout, parkour, skateboarding);
- Landscape zone: regular and landscape alleys, recreational areas, quiet board games, picnics and children's playgrounds, a garden of flowers and plants.
