Project name: Renovation of the Sports School for Children and Youth of Dzerzhinsk District

Implementation period: Two years since the launch of the project.

Applicant: Sports School for Children and Youth of Dzerzhinsk District.

Project objectives:

Creating comfortable conditions for education and training of children from Dzerzhinsk District;

Providing accessible physical education and sports opportunities  to children and teenagers of Dzerzhinsk District;

Using amateur sports to keep children away from falling into a cycle of anti-social behavior;

Promoting a healthy lifestyle among residents of Dzerzhinsk District;

Offering local residents free of charge public sports facilities;

Implementing the government policy in the field of physical education.

Project goals:

1. Developing the renovation project design for the Sports School for Children and Youth of Dzerzhinsk District;

2. Preparing the venue for the renovation;

3. Renovating the building of the Sports School for Children and Youth of Dzerzhinsk District;

4. Promoting healthy lifestyles among population, involving children in physical activities and sports.

Task group: Children and teenagers, persons with disabilities living in the town of Dzerzhinsk and Dzerzhinsk District.

Brief description: Renovation of the Sports School for Children and Youth of Dzerzhinsk District. Placing locker rooms near the entrance to the gym to enhance safety. Installation of moving-forward stands.
