Applicant: The state institution of special education “Center of developmental education and rehabilitation of Pinsk District”

Project goal: To create the conditions for education and development of children with developmental disabilities and disabilities of Pinsk District, Brest Region

Project tasks:

- adaptation and integration of children with developmental disabilities into modern society;
- development of sensory standards in children with developmental disabilities;
- assistance in recovery, development and maintenance of physical and mental skills of children with developmental disabilities and disabilities that enhance the ability to self-care

Target group: Children with developmental disabilities and disabilities of Pinsk District aged from birth to 18 years attending the center of developmental education and rehabilitation

Brief description:

- purchase of special equipment for the touch room (comfort corner, music classics, light projectors, sound and light tracks, etc.);
- purchase of rehabilitation equipment for children with developmental disabilities (wheelchairs, toilet and bathroom equipment, desks and chairs for children with musculoskeletal disorders, lifting device for wheelchairs, etc.);
- purchase of outdoor sensor equipment (sandboxes, slides, swings, carousels, tunnels, mazes, etc.);
- purchase of audio-video equipment, computer equipment for the observation room;
- purchase of furniture and carpets for the sensor room and observation room

Project budget (USD): $70,000

• Co-financing $3,000
