MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – Minsk is ready to continue humanitarian programs for Syrian children, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov said during his official visit to Syria, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Maksim Ryzhenkov noted that Minsk is ready to continue recuperation programs for Syrian children. These humanitarian programs are run under the patronage of the Belarusian head of state. They have been instrumental in bringing our peoples closer in recent years,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The foreign minister acknowledged the meaningful contribution made by the Syrian diaspora in Belarus and Belarusian citizens in Syria to strengthening bilateral relations. Maksim Ryzhenkov added that Syrian students can get quality education in Belarusian universities.
