MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – The representative office of the China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE) in Belarus has donated 30,000 protective gloves to Belarusian medical workers, BelTA has learned.
“The humanitarian cargo in the form of protective gloves is important and necessary for our medical workers. This aid will be sent to the healthcare facilities to help fight against the coronavirus,” said Eduard Valchuk, chief physician of the national emergency medical care center.
Deputy Head of the CAMCE representative office in Belarus Pei Chao said that Belarus is a reliable partner and friend for China. Belarus was the first country to support the Chinese people and government in the fight against coronavirus. In his view, the Chinese state enterprises should not only develop economic cooperation with Belarus, but also show social responsibility. “In April, we handed over 21,000 protective suits. This is the second batch of aid,” Pei Chao added.
