MINSK, 24 April (BelTA) – Another batch of test systems and means of protection from China will be delivered to Minsk on 25 April, the press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry told BelTA.

The cargo will be delivered by the Belarusian air carrier Transaviaexport. A cargo aircraft Boeing 747 will leave for Beijing today. It is expected to bring a medical cargo to the Minsk National Airport in the evening on 25 April.

Transaviaexport representatives said the cargo weighs over 50 tonnes. It includes test systems designed to detect COVID-19 and individual means of protection (masks, gloves, goggles) meant for Belarusian medics.

The Belarusian Emergencies Ministry is the customer of the medical cargo from China. Its acquisition in China was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Transport and Communications Ministry is authorized to ensure the delivery of the cargo to Belarus.

The press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry told BelTA that Transaviaexport aircraft will perform several more flights soon to deliver humanitarian cargoes from China to Belarus upon orders of Belarusian commercial entities.
