MINSK, 13 September (BelTA) – Belarus will donate medical supplies to Venezuela, according to Council of Ministers’ Resolution No.613 of 11 September 2019. The document was officially published on the national legal internet portal on 13 September, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian Healthcare Ministry has been instructed to allocate pharmaceutical products for a gratuitous assistance to Venezuela. The list includes 35 descriptions of products: pills, eye drops, ointments, and solutions for injection.
The pharmaceutical holding company Belpharmprom is responsible for the preparation of the batch.
In line with the resolution, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will help the Healthcare Ministry with certificates of free sale on medications for Venezuela, the Transport and Communications Ministry will deliver the batch, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will assist in handing the pharmaceutical products over in accordance with the established procedure.
The Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry (Belneftekhim) has been instructed to allocate funds to the organizations of the Transport and Communications Ministry for cost recovery of transport and logistics services related to the delivery of medications.
