MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) – Voting at the presidential election in Belarus was well organized, coordinator of the CIS IPA observation group Oleg Melnichenko said in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
The CIS IPA observers visited 124 polling stations during early voting and on the election day. “Around 6% of the polling stations was covered by international observation. Voting was organized at a high level, election commissions worked well. We have not seen any violations that could have an impact on the voting or the results of the voting,” Oleg Melnichenko said.
The conditions were in place for low-mobility citizens, and all safety measures were taken in view of epidemiological situation.
