MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) - Voter turnout in the president election in Belarus was 86.75%, BelTA learned from the website of the Central Election Commission of Belarus.
Vitebsk Oblast was the leader in terms of voter turnout (91%), with the voter turnout at its lowest in the city of Minsk (73.33%).
Voter turnout at polling stations abroad stood at 82.85%.
The total number of voters on the electoral register is over 7 million.
