A total of over 6,100 polling stations have been set up in Belarus and abroad. The stations will be opened in sanatoriums, hospitals, other stationary healthcare institutions and army units in addition to other places. Belarus citizens, who live abroad, will be able to cast their votes at 49 polling stations.
11 October 2015 is the election day. Citizens will be able to cast early votes on 6-10 October (from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00). On the election day the polling stations will stay open from 8:00 to 20:00.
Belarus citizens will be able to cast their votes only at the polling station assigned to their place of residence. Following the established tradition voters will have to check their chosen candidate on the ballot paper with any sign. After that the checked ballot paper will have to be dropped into the sealed container.
