MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – Over 500 meetings with voters and more than 300 pre-election rallies have been held by presidential candidates during the ongoing election campaign in Belarus, Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina said in her video address at the website vybory2015.by, BelTA has learned.
“All the candidates for the post of the President of Belarus have been conducting an intensive pre-election campaign. As for today, over 500 meetings with voters and labor collectives have been held in the country. The candidates’ initiative groups have also organized more than 300 pre-election rallies and other open-air events. Apart from that, the candidates have also been actively using television and radio airtime as well as media services,” said Lidia Yermoshina.
According to the CEC head, the election campaign proceeds in line with the law.
