MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) – The Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Russian Federation will study the organization of early voting in Belarus, head of Russia’s CEC Vladimir Churov told journalists on 12 October, BelTA has learned.
“We will carefully study the organization of early voting in Belarus. Early voting itself is a convenient option for voters. However, it should be closely monitored at all stages, including by independent observers,” Vladimir Churov noted.
He emphasized that it was important that the early election in Belarus was conducted at the same rooms at polling stations as on the main election day. Besides, the process was constantly monitored by observers.
