MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – The information on real estate holdings and income of the candidates for the post of the President of Belarus will be made public after their official registration, Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina said in her video address on 3 September, BelTA informs.
“Voters will be able to get familiar with this data,” the CEC head said.
According to Lidia Yermoshina, the CEC will use the help of the corresponding bodies that register citizens’ property and have information on citizens’ income to check the submitted income and property declarations of the potential candidates, their spouses, and full-aged family members that live with them.
