MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna paid a working visit to Stockholm on 9-11 September, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Alena Kupchyna met with Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Head of the Swedish Delegation to the OSCE PA, Special Coordinator of the short-term OSCE observer mission at the presidential elections in Belarus Kent Harstedt. The parties exchanged views on the situation in the region and preparations for the presidential elections in our country.
Alena Kupchyna also met with State Secretary to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Annika Soder. The parties discussed a wide range of issues of the bilateral agenda of Belarus and Sweden, considered more active cooperation in the political and economic areas, as well as Belarus-EU interaction.
