“One needs to know how to acknowledge mistakes,” the politician said. In his words, today one must not grumble that the signature collection stage is undemocratic. “No one was prevented from collecting signatures. There were opportunities to collect them everywhere, even near the KGB office,” said Oleg Gaidukevich.

According to the representative of Sergei Gaidukevich’s initiative group, some politicians that fail to become candidates for the post of the President of Belarus “start throwing mud at the ongoing election process.” “One need to get ready for the campaign beforehand. We nominated our candidate for the post two years before the election,” Oleg Gaidukevich added.

“I strongly disagree with the opinion that there is no interest in the elections. Even the stage of collecting signatures showed that the election process is dynamic,” Oleg Gaidukevich said.
