MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – An estimated 10.94 percent of voters turned out for the first two days of early voting ahead of the 11 October presidential election in Belarus. The data is available at the website of the Central Election Commission of Belarus, BelTA has learned.
On 6-7 October a total of 11.7 percent of ballots were cast in Gomel Oblast, with 10.08 percent cast in Mogilev Oblast. Turnout in Minsk made up 10.67%.
A total of 7.73% cast their votes outside Belarus.
Early voting will last through 10 October inclusively. The polls will stay open from 10h00 to 19h00 with a lunch break between 14h00 and 16h00.
