MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – The election process in Belarus proceeds in accordance with the country’s legislation, representative of the election observation mission of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (CIS IPA) Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Vladimir Vitiuc told media on 10 October, BelTA informs.
“Taking into account the conclusions made by the long-term observation mission as well as my personal impressions I can say that the process proceeds within the framework of the Belarusian legislation. Information concerning the presidential candidates are available to voters. All necessary conditions have been created for the candidates to get their message across the electorate with the help of mass media. We see that all necessary conditions have been created by both the Central Election Commission and organizations responsible for the organization of the elections,” he said.
The observer added that the electoral process is well-organized and calm.
