MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) – The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus launched a special information resource for the 2015 presidential election on 23 July. The relevant announcement by CEC Chairperson Lidia Yermoshina was aired by Belarus One TV Channel, BelTA informs.
The online information resource will provide the latest information on the election campaign. In particular, Lidia Yermoshina said in her video address that territorial elections commissions had been set up in Belarus and provided information on their working hours. She also stressed that the Central Election Commission has not received any complaints from the potential candidates for the presidency and members of their initiative groups yet. In her words, it proves that all the norms of the Belarusian election legislation are fulfilled in a proper manner.
“I will keep voters informed about every important step of the election campaign. We will also be glad to receive proposals aimed at improving the election process,” Lidia Yermoshina said in her video address.
