Belarus’ CEC comments on interim reports of CIS, OSCE ODIHR missions

MINSK, 24 September (BelTA) – The interim report released by the CIS election observation mission can be called objective, BelTA learned from Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina on 24 September.

The head of the Belarusian election organization agency said: “The CIS mission’s report is very good. It does contain objective information without opinions.” Speaking about the interim report released by the OSCE ODIHR mission, Lidia Yermoshina noted: “On the one hand, there is no opinion at the end of the report”. Yet she said she believes the report inspires less optimism.
