MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – A total of 4.49% of voters came to the polls on the first day of early voting, 6 October, ahead of the 11 October presidential election in Belarus. The data is available at the official website of the Central Election Commission of Belarus, BelTA informs.
5.11% of eligible voters took advantage of early voting in Vitebsk Oblast, with 3.84% early votes cast in Grodno Oblast. The turnout in Minsk reached 4.62%.
Early voting will last through 10 October inclusively. Polling stations will work from 10h00 to 19h00 with a lunch break between 14h00 and 16h00.
