MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – The youth expect honest and open dialogue from the Belarusian People’s Congress, First Secretary of the Vitebsk Oblast Committee of the BRSM Youth Union Viktor Glushin told BelTA
“First of all, we expect honest, direct and open dialogue on the issues which are relevant for the Belarusian society, on the trends that are currently developing,” said Viktor Glushin.
Among young delegates there are representatives of different sectors: culture, education, healthcare and others. Everyone have their pressing issues, the First Secretary of the Vitebsk Oblast Committee of the BRSM Youth Union noted. “We will talk about these problems. For instance, students are concerned with the changes related to Belarus’ accession to the Bologna Process. Reforms to the additional education sector are also relevant today,” he added.
According to the delegate, the present-day youth can and like working, earning according to their performance. Many young people combine studies and work. Student teams that are set up in Belarus every year testify to the fact.
Speaking about the idea that unites the Belarusian people, Viktor Glushin said that this has always been the memory about the Great Patriotic War. National cultural traditions, symbols and the native language are the things that also unite us, he emphasized.
