70th anniversary of the Great Victory

MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – The photo exhibition The Last World War: Remembering for the Sake of Peace to mark the 70^th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and the end of the Second World War will open at the CIS Executive Committee on 3 September, BelTA learnt from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The exposition comprises unique war photos from various former Soviet Union states. The expo is a joint project of nine states: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The exhibition will be opened by representatives of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the CIS Executive Committee. The ceremony will be attended by CIS plenipotentiaries, the staff of the ministries of foreign affairs and other guests.
