“The black-and-white photos dating back to the days of the war show the contribution of all the former Soviet countries to the Victory over Nazism. The portrait photographs of the Heroes of the Soviet Union pay tribute to the courage of those who sacrificed their lives for the Victory,” the ministry explained. The exposition showcases photos depicting important events of those days. First of all, they focus on people, and the horrors of the war.
