MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – Belarus will take part in the 28th Moscow International Book Fair on 2-6 September. The national exposition will be organized by the Belarusian Information Ministry, BelTA learned from the ministry.
Belarusian publishers regularly participate in the international forum. This year’s national exposition will feature a wide range of recently published books, including encyclopedias, business literature, scientific and educational books, reference literature, fiction, and children’s books.
A separate section will be dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The exposition will also showcase posters by the winners of the CIS international patriotic poster contest We Want Peace initiated by the Belarusian Information Ministry.
The Belarusian delegation will take part in an international roundtable with the participation of famous writers, scholars, and workers of culture from Belarus and Russia. The roundtable will take place at the business and culture complex of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia on 2 September.
Belarusian publishers will get 12 diplomas at the award ceremony of the CIS international contest the Art of Book that will be held as part of the fair. Belarus will be awarded the grand prix of the contest for the sixth time for its book Belarus – The Land of Castles.
