500 Years of Belarusian Book Printing

MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – Publications marking 500 years of the Belarusian book printing will be displayed at the 7^th international book fair in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Information Ministry.

A delegation of Belarusian publishers and book distributors will showcase the publications of 2016-2017 at the exhibition scheduled for 25-27 October. There are fiction, local and children’s literature and course books. The Belarusian stand will display books of the national publishing houses Mastatskaya Litaratura, Petrus Brovka Belorusskaya Encyclopedia, Belarus, Zvyazda, Narodnaya Asveta.

A separate collection will include publications about Francysk Skaryna and the 500^th anniversary of the Belarusian book printing. The exposition will feature the World Heritage of Francysk Skaryna book, the Grand Prix of the national context Art of Book and the Grand Prix of the 14^th international contest of the CIS member states Art of the Book. The book was published in Belarusian, Russian and English.
