MINSK, 5 July (BelTA) – The Standing Committee has agreed unanimously to establish an ad hoc committee on anti-terrorism during the 26th OSCE PA Annual Session in Minsk, BelTA learned from the OSCE PA’s Twitter account.
“The Standing Committee agrees unanimously to establish the new OSCE PA Ad Hoc Committee on Anti-Terrorism,” the post reads.
The 26th OSCE PA Annual Session kicked off in the Belarusian capital on 5 July. This year’s forum is dedicated to enhancing mutual trust and cooperation for peace and prosperity in the OSCE region.
Resolutions to be adopted as a result of the discussions will lay the foundation of the Minsk declaration, which will formulate recommendations for national governments, parliaments, and the international community on response to pressing challenges and threats.
