MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) - Experts from the United Kingdom intend to visit Belarus to share best practices with Belarus’ law enforcement in the run-up to the 2nd European Games. The timing of the visit is being discussed now, Vladimir Bachila, the head of the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry Academy, told the media, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian law enforcement agencies have long been studying the experience of ensuring security during mass events. “We look forward to welcoming experts from the UK in the Internal Affairs Ministry Academy who will tell us about law enforcement during very big and important sports events,” Vladimir Bachila said.
The experts from the United Kingdom are expected to visit Minsk in late February or early March.
