MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) - Tickets for the 2nd European Games 2019 in Minsk went on sale at noon on 1 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Directorate of the games.
Residents of any country can purchase the tickets through the website www.minsk2019.ticketpro.by. In Belarus, tickets are also available in the box offices of the Tiketpro official ticket operator, and in Europe at official resellers. In the Russian Federation, tickets will go on sale on 15 December 2018 at the official ticket agent www.ponominalu.ru.
As it was previously reported, the cheapest ticket costs Br5 or €2 (for foreign citizens). The most expensive ticket is Br50 or €20.
Tickets are available in several categories: “Standard”, VIP, for the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony.
Tickets for the opening ceremony range from Br150 to Br300 (€62-123). The prices for the closing ceremony tickets are lower, from Br70 to Br150 (€29-61).
The total number of seats in the stands during the 2nd European Games will be 375,000 and can be increased to 535,000 depending on the demand and popularity of the sport. The total number of sports sessions for attending is 111.
The 2nd European Games are scheduled to take place in Minsk on 21-30 June 2019. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete for 200 sets of awards in 15 sports. The competitions in nine sports will offer qualification opportunities for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Competitions in badminton, boxing, canoe sprint and judo will be held in the format of European championships.
