Second European Games logo unveiled in Minsk
Minsk, 7 July (BelTA) – The logo of the Second European Games has been inspired by the slogan “Follow your dream”, BelTA has learned.
In Belarus there is a legend about a fern flower. The one who will find the flower that blooms on midsummer night will have all his wishes and dreams come true. The athletes from all over Europe who will gather in Minsk in June 2019 will follow their dream to win a valuable award.
The official motto of the Second European Games is “Bright Year, Bright You”. There will also be variants in Russian and Belarusian.
Belarus was chosen to host the Second European Games in 2019 after a vote at the 45th General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees in Minsk in October 2016. The First European Games were held in Azerbaijan in June 2015. Belarus placed 7th with a total of 43 medals.
